Our environment
A major part of Remedy’s server infrastructure is a mix of virtualized Ubuntu Linux and Windows servers on vSphere platform. Utilizing dynamically routed BGP networks built upon technologies from Cisco, Ruckus, and Palo Alto Networks we ensure that information will flow efficiently and securely between systems. Most of our network hosts, including workstations, run dual stack IPv4/IPv6. Our Zabbix monitoring system ensures that we keep track of all the servers and other IT infrastructure equipment we are responsible for.
Using several different storage platforms that are built on fiber channel and iSCSI SANs, enables us to handle the huge amount of data flowing between systems generated through game development. We aim to orchestrate the setting up of our infrastructure and services. Ansible is used for installation of servers & services and for workstation and endpoint management we are transitioning to use Intune from SCCM. VMware Horizon helps us to provide VDI for remote/hybrid work for our globally dispersed user base.
On top of the infrastructure, we run commercial applications like Perforce Helix, Gitlab and TeamCity for source control and to manage the CI/CD pipeline of ~100 build farm agents.
For digital collaboration we maintain suite of Atlassian collaboration tools, Slack and M365. A hybrid on-prem AD/Entra user directory is integrated to our business applications and is utilized for IAM and user & access management.
