Senior/Lead Build Engineer REMEDY ENTERTAINMENT / Espoo, Finland

PUBLISHED: February 25, 2025

Remedy Entertainment, the creator of Control®, Max Payne®, Alan Wake®, and one of the leading independent game studios in the world, is looking for a Senior/Lead Build Engineer to create high-quality tooling and services for the next generation of games.

As a Senior/Lead Build Engineer at Remedy you will join our Builds team on a journey to take Remedy’s development and publishing services to the next level. In this role, you will improve, optimize, maintain, and expand the capabilities of our game’s build and deployment pipelines, assist with managing our Perforce depots, and collaborate closely with the game project teams on their usage of our pipeline capabilities.

You can expect to be working within our Windows-based server environment that the TeamCity (TC) build agents are deployed onto. Currently this environment is deployed on bare metal; you will take part in evaluating and implementing a subset of TC agents to be container-based or VMWare-based. As part of the optimization work on the pipelines you will be working on new pre-flight checks, better error reporting for the project teams, and expanding the monitoring and alerting. You will be exercising your investigation skills by looking at where jobs and agents spend the most time on to cut down on job execution time, agent pool starvation, job queue waiting time, and map out hardware-level optimizations for both execution and storage/IO speeds.

We enthusiastically welcome diverse viewpoints and backgrounds. We at Remedy value and are committed to ensuring an inclusive and safe work environment for all our team members.
