Development Manager, Retail Solutions

Veikkaus Retail Solutions delivers high-quality Retail, Arcades & Casino Gaming solutions and operating services to the Finnish markets. We’re searching for a Development Manager to our Retail Solutions device related operations & development team. The position is permanent and full-time.

If you have a passion for empowering teams with a product thinking approach and love for making sense of business goals and have experience in operative side, you might just be what we’re looking for.

As a Development Manager, you will act as the manager of a team consisting of system managers, designers and device support managers. In team manager role, your main responsibility is to ensure the abilities of team to deliver excellent service levels in gaming services and long-term development in retail solutions. We believe in working in small autonomous and adaptive teams and nurturing inclusive, collaborative and ambitious team cultures.

You will be guiding the team from the current state towards a solution and as such, your daily tasks include contributing on different levels of abstraction. You are the keeper of the big picture; you ensure the ideas are synthesized and the focus is on the essentials. You facilitate collaboration between different stakeholders and work together with multiple business and technology teams. Together with the team you methodically divide large visions into sensible increments.

You will thrive in this position, if you have:

  • Natural tendency to get things done
  • Technology background and experience in supporting and leading development teams
  • Experience in operations of physical products and software products
  • Experience of life cycle management of devices & software products
  • Considerable experience in applying Agile practices
  • Leadership and collaboration skills
  • Possibility to work at the Veikkaus offices minimum of 2 times a week
