Application Manager

We are looking for an Application Manager to join the Gaming Product Development unit. This position is permanent and full-time Veikkaus’ Partner Development team. In this role, you will manage and develop gaming platforms to meet future needs, working in collaboration with possible external development teams.

Your responsibilities will include participating in the development of various gaming systems within your area, release management, and incident and problem management tasks as part of Veikkaus’ incident management processes. You will act as Veikkaus’ technical representative towards our partners.

Key tools and systems used in the role include: JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, Splunk, Slack, Teams, GitLab, GCP, AWS, ITSM, and Azure.

Since English will be used daily in your work, we kindly ask you to submit your application and CV in English.

We expect you to have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in ICT expert roles
  • A technical background in software development
  • Experience in API integrations
  • Knowledge of public cloud environments
  • Strong skills in partner and vendor collaboration
  • Documentation and communication skills in English
  • A service-oriented mindset, initiative, and self-direction

Considered an advantage:

  • Experience in software testing
  • A relevant higher education degree
  • Understanding of gambling and sports betting mechanics
  • Documentation and communication skills in Finnish

The position is located at Veikkaus’ headquarters in Pohjois-Haaga, Helsinki. We work flexibly in a hybrid model.
