Product Marketing Manager, Mobile

Wargaming’s Mobile team is on the lookout for an experienced product marketing manager who will partner with several development and publishing teams to set positioning, strategy, manage product launches, gather customer insights and maximize our mobile games’ potential. You’ll own the go-to-market plan, represent the voice of the customer and coordinate all of the marketing activities for one to many mobile games, globally.

Given that we have offices around the World and are still in the early stages of WG Mobile, we’re flexible on the physical location of this role and anticipate an intensive travel schedule.

What you will do:

  • Through your expert understanding of our products and our customers, you’ll partner with studio marketing and development teams to lead the creation of highly creative region specific go-to-market publishing plans focusing on player acquisition, engagement, reacquisition and monetization for each territory
  • Interface and coordinate with a variety of cross-functional partners ranging from studio development teams, legal, licensing, PR, community, etc., both internally and externally, ensuring proper contribution, visibility and alignment into publishing activities and maximum success of our campaign programs in each territory
  • Actively manage the territory specific program marketing budgets, providing business rationale and ROI for proposed program spending and meticulous tracking of expenses incurred
  • Provide thorough post-mortem campaign analysis effectively sharing insights into the health of each business, the impact of our marketing activities and recommendation for future program engagement and budget spending in each territory
  • Analyze performance of all marketing programs (including ad spend) to identify the best opportunities for optimization, and regularly iterate to maximize performance
  • Identify value proposition and key messages, write creative briefs for internal or external agencies to ensure we produce best in class creative which is consistent across all channels and resonates with our players


  • 5+ years of experience in online consumer marketing with a strong track record of success and results in mobile games
  • Previous start-up, games and/or social media experience is a strong plus
  • Solid understanding of online advertising platforms & related metrics
  • Experience – and desire – to do both strategic marketing and daily execution and optimization
  • Strong influencing and leadership skills; effective cross-functional driver
  • Strong creative skills, including ability to generate and sell new campaign ideas
  • Team player with ability to collaborate and interface with a wide range of partners both internally and externally (both domestic and international)
  • Possess strong organization skills, have high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Strong passion and knowledge of mobile free-to-play games


  • Experience working with Eastern European/CIS development studios and publishers
  • Russian language fluency
