We are looking for a Game Programmer to join our team in Helsinki!

Lightneer aims to create fun and snackable mobile games made by growth-oriented and happy, curious people. We work in small, independent teams and aim to continuously learn and grow as individuals and as a result – as a company. We are all about understanding our games’ potential quickly by developing and testing a handful of hyper casual and hybrid casual game ideas monthly. As a key member of our world-class team, you will have the opportunity to make your mark on new fun mobile games played worldwide.

As a Game Programmer you will develop different types of games as part of the production team and in conjunction with the biggest hyper and hybrid casual mobile game publishers. You will join a small independent team supported by our amazing tech and aim to build and iterate prototypes quickly. As a company we aim to publish 100 releases throughout the year so expect to learn a lot with the team.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Designing and developing games with Unity
  • Writing high quality code with C#
  • Collaborating with the team members and other stakeholders on game development processes
  • Sharing technical expertise with the team

Qualifications

  • Experience in the gaming industry with at least 1 shipped game
  • Mobile game development background and understanding of KPIs
  • Understanding how physics work in a context of gameplay
