Games Growth Hacker recruitment and training program could be an answer to your wishes!

Several Finnish gaming companies need fresh talent to boost their User Acquisition. There are not enough talented UA professionals in Finland and therefore companies are ready to invest in the training and development of new talent through the Games Growth Hacker program which is part of a larger recruitment & training program called Digital Excellence Academy in collaboration with Google.

The roles and requirements vary from company to company, but are all related to growth hacking, data science and marketing. What you need is to have an interest in the games industry, can-do attitude and good English language skills. Most of the roles also require an analytical mind-set. Growth hacking changes constantly so you need to be ready to take on new skills to be able to stay on the forefront.

Your road to become a User Acquisition superstar starts here!

To help you to evolve into a UA superstar, we have built a training program held by industry professionals and Google that cannot be found anywhere else. You will learn about F2P, metrics, analytics, monetisation, engagement, retention CPI, MAU, ARPU, LTV, IAP and a lot more during a 6-month training. We don’t expect for you to already know about these things, but we expect you to be willing to invest in your own development.

Combination of on-the-job learning and training

The Games Growth Hacker is organized in collaboration with Google Finland, Uusimaa Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY) and the Ministry of Labour. Games Growth Hacker combines 18 training days with on-the-job learning. For the duration of the 6-month program (19.6.-19.12.2017) you will sign a training contract with the recruiting company with the aim to sign a work contract after the 6-month program.

We have previously recruited over a hundred people to the games industry through our recruitment programs.

Can I apply?

The Games Growth Hacker is a labour market training program. You are eligible to apply if you are currently unemployed, your employment is ending or you are in a job that does not match your education. During the training, you can apply for an unemployment benefit (ansiopäiväraha, peruspäiväraha or työmarkkinatuki) to which you are entitled to when you are unemployed. In addition, you can also apply for claim compensation for work and training days.

F.E.C. (Further Educated with Companies) Recruitment and Training Program

The training combines on-the-job learning and training with the aim of employment. The program is organized in close cooperation with Google Finland, Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY), TE Office and the recruiting companies. The program has been developed for unemployed TE Office customers, people whose employment is ending and people who are working in a job that does not match their education. Participants are under a training contract for the duration of the F.E.C. program and are eligible to apply for an unemployment benefit (ansiopäiväraha, peruspäiväraha or työmarkkinatuki) and claim compensation. 

Saranen Consulting is responsible for the pre-selection of the candidates. You can start in the F.E.C. program once a suitable recruiting company has been found and a training contract has been signed.
